Built for on-location multi camera workflows in mind, the Fiber Dispatch 5 converts 5 pairs of 12G SDI In/Out 4K video signals into 5 optical fiber outputs, using robust Neutrik OpticalCon Duo connectors.   

- Standard 1U rack design

Thanks to a compact 1U rack design, the Fiber Dispatch converter will sit perfectly inside your existing video rack, allowing you to connect up to 5 cameras using the Fiber Camera Box. Built-in fans ensure proper cooling of all the converters for a hassle free workflow. 

- Made for efficiency and 4K over long distances 

Ever felt the time-consuming task of pulling two different SDI cables to a single camera , one for the input and on for the return feed ? The Fiber Dispatch 5 merges each of these cable pairs into single Optical fiber cables, which is more lightweight and much more reliable than traditional copper BNC cables since it is insensitive to all electromagnetic interferences. You can run your fiber cable over thousands of miles with zero dropouts. 

- Industry standard & widespread fiber connector 

The Neutrik Optical ConDuo connector makes this converter compatible both with widespread LC / LC fiber cables, as well as the rugged Optical Con Advanced Duo & Duo Lite cables by Neutrik, designed for field use and tough handling. The connector has a built-in automatic shutter that protects the fiber cores as soon as the cable is disconnected.

- Many possibilities with the Middle Fiber products 

Paired with a Fiber Camera Box, a Fiber Unite or a Fiber Bridge , unleash many configurations that will greatly  improve your day to day multicamera workflow! 

The Fiber Dispatch 5 can  be used with the Middle Things Fiber Camera Box 6G / 12G, Bridge 5, Bridge 10, as well as the Blackmagic Mini Converter Optical Fiber 12G converter with 3G / 6G / 12G SFP modules.

It supports single mode LC optical fiber cables, as well as Neutrik OpticalCon Duo and OpticalCon Duo Lite cables. Supported SDI video signals are 3G,  6G  and 12G (max  2160p60 )
